Oktoberfest

The Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce Events Committee will host Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 4th, at the scenic Country Apple Orchard. Come in your best Lederhosen or Dirndl or come as you are and live vicariously through others.  

There will be a ceremonial Tapping of the Keg to kick off the festivities at 4 PM followed by a hearty "Zicke Zacke, Zicke Zacke Hoi, Hoi, Hoi", which is the beginning of the German drinking song "Ein Prosit" or "A Toast".

There will be Traditional Oktoberfest Games like Hammerschlagen, Stein Holding Competition, Stein Relay Races, and Pretzel Toss, starting at 5PM.

Main Squeeze will take the stage at 5PM and play till close.
